Education Projects
Children are deprived of education and learning for many reasons. Poverty is one of the most common reasons and obvious barriers. In underdeveloped countries, political instabilities and economic fragilities limit the budget reserved for education. On the other hand, war and conflict drives thousands of kids out of school. In some countries, education opportunities for girls remain severely limited.
What is the Situation Around the World?
- 258 million children and youth of school age are deprived of education around the world.
- An estimated 35 million children around the world have been forcibly displaced. Nearly half of all school-aged refugee children are not in school.
