Disaster Projects

Natural disasters, pandemics and wars deprive people of basic needs. In this period, which can last for a few days or years, people
struggle to survive while dealing with loss of life and property. The care shown by benevolent donors to disasters helps people in
need around the world to hold on to life.
What is the Situation Around the World?
- In Pakistan, 4.2 million people have been affected by the recent floods.
- In Somalia, 755 thousands of people have been internally displaced because of the drought; the worst in recent history.
- In Türkiye, Lebanon and Northern Syria; 5.4 million refugees are dependent on emergency relief especially during the harsh winter season.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Zumra reaches the most needy in regions that need regular assistance like Syria, Somalia, Bangladesh, Gaza, Lebanon, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Yemen. No matter how the needy have been affected either by blockades, famine, natural disasters or war. We are there with our teams on the ground providing food packs, warm cooked meals, hygiene packs, medical kits, tents etc. In addition to this, we also support displaced people, refugees, helpless families and orphans regularly.Videos
”Sa’d ibn Ubadah asked Messenger of Allah, Umm Sa’d (mother of Sa’d) has died; what form of sadaqah (charity) is best? He replied: Water (is best). He dug a well and said: It is for Umm Sa’d” [Sunan Abi Dawud].
